MyFactor LLC funds trucking companies, brokers and growing businesses out of New York City. We advance cash against delivered loads and unpaid invoices, we take the collections work off your desk, and we build the technology around it.
Our story
Why MyFactor exists
MyFactor began with a truck that would not run. A driver needed $20,000 for an engine repair and came asking for a hard money loan. One of our founders went looking for a better way to get him back on the road, found factoring, and built a company around it.
He came to it from accounting rather than from trucking: a Certified Public Accountant who ran his own firm for twenty-three years, eleven of them spent in merchant cash advances and hard money lending. He had spent a career watching what happens to a small business when the money has been earned but has not arrived.
That is still the shape of the company. The question MyFactor asks about a new account is the same one that mattered on that first engine — not how long you have been in business, but whether the people who owe you money pay their bills.
